why we do it
Creative and compassionate kids are capable of impacting the causes they care about in a variety of ways.
Groups of kids of various ages, backgrounds, and talents organized around a common goal of service provide a learning environment that fosters growth in social, economic, philanthropic, and management skills with purpose and mutual respect.
Compassionate action is contagious. We celebrate accomplishments and lessons to engage, educate,
and inspire ourselves and others. We use our website and other publicity to share our structure and successes so that others can act on their compassion more easily.
Group projects of up to 15 kids working for a non-profit provides a direct connection with the mission and the outcome.
Adult mentors are encouraged to recognize participants’ passions, talents, and potential while providing guidance that supports without controlling the outcome.
